Cross Country Schooling

Swalcliffe Park is best known for its exceptional cross-country facilities, designed and built by Olympic course builder Richard Taylor. The courses are set within beautiful undulating farmland, creating an authentic and educational experience for horse and rider alike.

With over 150 fences ranging from 30cm to 1.10m, plus a variety of technical challenges and training options, there’s something for everyone from first-timers to advanced eventers.

Features include:

  • Three water complexes
  • Banks, ditches and steps
  • A quarry and sunken roads
  • Themed fences such as the Caterpillars and Ariat Ducks
  • Separate “Mini Course” (30–60cm) in a secure field with its own water and steps
